Biography
Born in Istanbul in 1541, she was her parents' first child and only daughter, and possibly her grandparents' first grandchild as well. She had several brothers, whose number and names are though contested. She was married to Semiz Ali Pasha (d. 28 June 1565), who succeeded her father as Grand Vizier upon the latter's death, the marriage producing four sons, and then to Nisançi Feridun Bey, only to be widowed again after a year of marriage. Her third and final marriage, was reportedly to Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Effendi,in 1590. She died in Istanbul in 1594, and was presumably buried alongside her son Osman Bey, already deceased since 1590, in Mihrimah Sultan Mosque.
