Australian Visitor Radio, Western Visitor Radio or "FM 88" is a radio information network providing information to travellers visiting the Newell Highway regions between Goondiwindi, Queensland and Finley, New South Wales. The headquarters/sales office is located in Parkes, New South Wales. Their slogan is "Travelling's Great, with FM 88"

FM 88 provides travellers with the local history of the city that they are visiting. In addition, it also provides information about popular tourist venues that may be of interest. The broadcast is a recorded 30 minute interview with tourism operators in the particular town that they are visiting. The recording is replayed 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Frequency

FM 88 broadcasts on the FM waveband, and can be heard on 88.0 FM in the mentioned towns. Be aware, that FM 88 broadcasts at low power and as such may not be able to be heard in some regions outside the mentioned licence area.
