It is located about 3 km south of the Sydney central business district, adjacent to Redfern railway station, spread over 13.9 hectares of land.

Contents

Australian Technology Park primarily houses start-up hi-tech companies, especially biotech firms, and spin-offs from university research. It was created in 1995, by the Government of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, University of Technology, Sydney and University of New South Wales, and operates under the control of the Redfern Waterloo Authority.
