History
Established in 1999, the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers expanded from a handful of education training centres in Queensland to an Australia-wide fitness education network.
AIPT was founded by Kevin Kalinko.

Adam Jacobs joined AIPT as National Campus Manager in 2011. In 2014, he was promoted to CEO of AIPT.
Kylie Fahey became Foundation Education Group CEO in March 2014.
Kevin Kalinko has a bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. He is Foundation Education Director and a board member for Fitness Australia.
Courses
The Australian Institute of Personal Trainers offers nationally recognised Certificate and Diploma level qualifications (with VET FEE-HELP approved for eligible courses), with a primary focus on health and fitness, extending through to subjects including business, management, finance, marketing, events, education and travel.
