Auston Trusty (born August 12, 1998) is an American soccer player who plays for Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer.

Amatuer career
Trusty signed to play with United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel FC in 2016 on an amateur contract to allow him to still be eligible to play college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, whom he'd verbally agreed to join after graduating high school. Despite the verbal agreement, Trusty would not attend college, instead focusing on his professional career.
Philadelphia Union
Auston's efforts paid off midway through the 2016 season when he signed a Homegrown Player contract with Philadelphia Union on August 10, 2016. Trusty was the second homegrown signing of 2016, following fellow Bethlehem Steel FC teammate, Derrick Jones.
U.S. U-20 Men's National Team

On February 9, 2017, Trusty was named to the U.S. Under 20 Men's National Team. Head coach, Tab Ramos selected Auston to the 20-man roster that will compete in the 2017 World Cup qualifying tournament in Costa Rica, running from February 17- March , 2017. The team begins competition against Panama on February 18th.
