Notable authors include British musician and composer Simon May, British actress Sadie Kaye, poet and philosopher Oliver Friggieri, children's television writer David Jones, professional wrestler Joe E. Legend and David Pike who was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Brave Conduct for his service in the London Fire Brigade.
Karen Campbell, who was awarded the "new author of the year" award by Planet London in 2014 is also published by the company. In 2015, Austin Macauley published 'Don't Call Me Ugly' - the first autobiography from former model and entrepreneur Alicia Douvall.
Award-winning books
Tim Wotton's "How Have I Cheated Death? A Short and Merry Life with Cystic Fibrosis", published by Austin Macauley in April 2014, was a finalist in The People's Book Prize (UK) Autumn 2014 collection. Tim later went on to win the People's Book Prize award for 'Best Achievement' in May 2015. Also in 2015, David Pike's "London Firefighters" was shortlisted as a finalist for The Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards. And on April 1, 2016, David Pike won a Bronze Medal for adult non-fiction in the Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards with 'London Firefighters'. In 2016, Karl Bradshaw-White's 'Algarve Travel Guide: 54 Cities/Towns/Villages' became a finalist for The People’s Book Prize.
