Augusta Preparatory Day School (APDS) is a non-sectarian independent school in Augusta, Georgia. It accepts students from three years of age through twelfth grade.
Contents
History
Augusta Preparatory School began with thirty-eight students on September 5, 1961 in grades 7–12. Augusta Country Day School was founded in 1972, and accepted students from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Both schools were merged to form Augusta Preparatory Day School in 1988.
Today, APDS is organized in three divisions: The Lower School enrolls students age three through grade 4. The Middle school enrolls students in grades 5 through 8. The Upper School enrolls students in grades 9 through 12.
