Attero Dominatus is the second album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton, as well as the first to feature keyboardist Daniel Mÿhr.

According to Chris Dahlberg, the Latin name is intended to mean 'Destroy Tyranny'. "Attero Dominatus," however, means "I destroy tyrannies."

As with the Primo Victoria album, the lyrics on Attero Dominatus deals with different war subjects. "Nuclear Attack" deals with the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, "Rise of Evil" with the rise of the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. The song "Back in Control" deals with the Falklands War. "In the Name of God" takes on the situation in the middle-east by tackling suicide bombers and everyone who kills innocent people in the name of religion.

A video was shot for the titletrack in Umeå, Sweden done by Nocturnal Rites' drummer Owe Lingvall.
