Attack of the Flesh Devouring Space Worms from Outer Space (also known as Spaceworms) is a 1998 comedy-horror film produced by Scythe Productions and directed by Martin A. Martinez. The film was written by Martinez and George N. Thompson. Starring David Wood, Barbara Jurgens, and Thompson, the film follows a group of rural Americans fleeing from zombies and outer space worms.

Plot
Gargantuan worms from outer space invade the town of Arkansas and they begin turning corpses into zombies. Regarding the deadly worms as their masters, the zombies turn against the town folk by mutilating them. As rampage ensues, a lucky few escape into an abandoned hotel. They successfully fend off a number of zombies and at last a group of military officers are dispatched to wipe out the worms and save the survivors.
Production and release
David Wood was cast as "Spacewormlogist" Kurt S. Charlottan. He also played a zombie. Barbara Jurgens portrayed Sarah, and George N. Thompson played Agent Scorby. The film was directed by Martin A. Martinez for Scythe Productions. Martinez and Thompson collaboratively penned the screenplay. The film was officially released in the United States in 1998. It has been compared to The Lair of the White Worm (1940) and The Early Worm Gets The Bird (1988).
