Aterigena is genus of spiders in the family Agelenidae. The genus was created in 2010 for a group of species formerly placed in Tegenaria and Malthonica, which formed a clade in a phylogenetic analysis. The genus name is an anagram of Tegenaria. The genus was also found to be monophyletic in a later study, which further separated Eratigena from Tegenaria and Malthonica.
