Astralis or Team Astralis is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team founded in January 2016 by members of "Team Question Mark" after they left Team SoloMid. They have received an investment of several million Danish kroner from Sunstone Capital and the Danish entrepreneur Tommy Ahlers and are incorporating as Astralis ApS. It is a player owned organization, with each player owning a certain percentage of the company. When founding member Rene 'cajunb' Borg transferred to Team Dignitas on May 19, 2016, the team stated that he would keep a small portion of his shares in the company, but would no longer have an active role in day-to-day business. On October 19, 2016 it was announced that Astralis had sold Finn 'Karrigan' Andersen to FaZe Clan and on October 24 it was announced that Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander had joined Astralis for an undisclosed fee.
