Playing career
He is currently the captain for the PNG SP Hunters in the Queensland Intrust Super Cup. His position is at five-eight. He formerly played for the Rabaul Gurias in the Digicel Cup which he captain the team to countless Grand Finals before joining the PNG SP Hunters Program in 2013.
He played for the Papua New Guinea rugby league nines side at the 2015 Pacific Games.
On May 7 2016, Boas played for Papua New Guinea against Fiji in the 2016 Melanesian Cup, playing at five-eighth and scoring his first points for his country; kicking 4 goals in the 24-22 win at Parramatta Stadium.
