Arthur Harrison Allard Vann (1884 – 25 September 1915) was an English professional football outside left who appeared in the Football League for Burton United.

Personal life

Vann's younger brother Bernard was a sportsman and teacher. Both attended Jesus College, Cambridge. Vann served in the London Regiment and the West Yorkshire Regiment during the first year of the First World War. He held the rank of lieutenant and was adjutant of the 12th Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment when he was killed at Loos on 25 September 1915. He is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. Vann's brother Bernard also served, winning a VC and an MC and Bar, before being killed in action in France on 3 October 1918.
