Early life

In 1992, after graduating from the European Business School Paris, he left for Chile to create his own advertising agency which he sold five years later to BBDO. In 1998, he came back to France and studied an MBA at INSEAD.
Career

In 1999, he joined TBWA as head of international strategic planning and head of development.

In 2000, he was appointed as managing director of TBWA/Paris and in August 2003 he became chief executive officer (CEO) of TBWA/Paris.

Under his management TBWA/Paris received the « Agency of the Year » award four years in a row at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.
In December 2006, Sadoun became CEO of Publicis Conseil. The agency won numerous accounts such as BNP Paribas, Capgemini, Intermarché, Axa International, Yoplait, Luxottica and RATP.
In 2008, 2009 and 2010, Publicis Conseil received the « Agency of the Year » award.
In January 2009, Maurice Lévy appointed Arthur Sadoun as CEO of Publicis France. In October 2014, Lévy promoted Sadoun to CEO of Publicis Worldwide. In December 2015, Lévy promoted Sadoun to CEO of Publicis Communications.
On 26 January 2017, Lévy announced that Sadoun would succeed him as CEO and chairman of Publicis Groupe on 1 June 2017.
Personal life
Sadoun is married to the French journalist and television presenter Anne-Sophie Lapix.
