Arthur Leissa obtained his PhD in 1958 in the Ohio State University.

His work

  • Professor Leissa is a member of the American Academy of Mechanics (which he presided in 1987-88) and ASME. Since 1993, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Applied Mechanics Reviews.
