History

Arthur Freeman worked as a printer for a United States government agency in Washington, D.C.. Arthur retired in the early 1980s. In the late 1990s, Arthur Freeman began an informal custom clothing consulting business using local tailors to craft designs for friends and family. Eventually, the consulting evolved into the development of the Arthur Freeman apparel collection for men and boys.
