Arshia Samsaminia (born 1989) is an Iranian composer.

Biography


He studied contemporary composition at Tbilisi State Conservatoire and is a current student of the Sibelius Academy of Music in Finland. He has had composition and orchestrating projects, collaborations with GEPO orchestra in Paris, Tbilisi Contemporary Ensemble, Omnibus contemporary Ensemble, Stockholm Saxophone Quartet in Tehran, Aepex Contemporary Performance and more. His audio-visual work "Railroading in the East/Metro Project" has been selected for ART & SCIENCE DAY 2016 in France Bourges and AEPEX CONTEMPORARY MUSIC in USA Michigan for its world premiere.

He has also won an ERASMUS full scholarship program for the Sibelius Academy of Music in Finland (2016) His music has been performed in USA, Italy, Georgia, France, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Iran.
