Arne Kring is a Swedish former professional motocross racer. His greatest successes came in the 1970s and after. Like many Swedes of his time, he rode Husqvarna bikes. His best performance was in 1970 when he led in the F.I.M. 500cc world championship points standings after the first nine rounds, before he broke his back while competing in a non-championship race. He finished the season in second place behind Bengt Åberg during a year of Swedish domination in the 500 cc class, with fellow Swede Åke Jonsson finishing in third place. He also was a member of the winning Swedish team of the Motocross des Nations in 1970 and in 1974. Kring was also one of the pioneers who helped to make motocross extremely popular in the United States.
