Early life
Dordar was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada. His grandfather worked in the armed forces; his father was born and raised in a military community, and Dordar's life began the same. In his early childhood, he grew up in a foreign military community, only a few feet away from an airfield. After hearing nearby F-4 Phantom and F-5 Tiger fighter jets, unbeknownst to his parents, a curious young Arleo snuck out of his home and rode his bike into a nearby airfield; he was soon found and safely returned home. Arleo's parents later moved to Vancouver BC, where he grew up on the North Shore and later graduated from Sentinel Secondary School in West Vancouver.
At the age of 8, after watching Ben-Hur (1959), Arleo became very interested in acting. Starting at the age of 11, and throughout high school, he participated in every theater program available to him in his school and community. Arleo's best subjects in school were English philosophy and writing.
Education
At a very early age Dordar's father introduced him to mixed martial arts and the studies of both eastern philosophy and western philosophy, as Arleo's grandfather did with his father and uncle. He was taught how to adapt to the extremities of mental and physical training, learning tactical and intuitive skills, leadership and human behaviour. Dordar's education began in the dōjō where he trained in mixed martial arts, Kyokushin Kai, Taekwando, Karate, and kickboxing and later became a 3rd degree black belt at the Sport Kickboxing Federation. At the age of 12, Arleo would open his family's MMA dojo and help around the business.
In 2005, Dordar completed the Acting Techniques for Professional Actors program in Vancouver BC, under the tutelage of Michael D. Simms of FOX's, The X-Files, his first acting teacher. In 2006, his agent offered him a full scholarship to a 2-year conservatory program to the performing arts at NCFA, out of the strong belief in him succeeding as a young actor; in this program, Dordar studied under Mel Austin Tuck, one of Vancouver's iconic figures in acting and theatre, and whose past students included many notable Canadian actors, such as Molly Parker, Barry Pepper, Eric McCormack, and Martin Cummins.
After completing the performing arts program, Dordar attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management. He then focused on the growth and success of his family's business, where they soon opened multiple fitness MMA clubs, all over British Columbia and Alberta.
Soon after he moved to New York and auditioned for the MFA program at the Actors Studio Drama School. Dordar was not accepted into this program, but was soon accepted into The Bachelor of Fine Arts program (BFA) in Acting for Film, Television, Voice-overs, and Commercials (FTVC) at PACE University, in Lower Manhattan.
Career
At 15, Dordar was cast in CBS Paramount Network Television's, The 4400 (2004). Between 2005 and 2009, he appeared in a number of small independent films and short films while furthering his martial arts training, which included starting his own MMA studio in Burnaby, BC, known as K-Fitness Sport Kickboxing Academy.
Dordar's acting skills caught the attention of Showcase's Shattered director Rick Rosenthal, who cast Dordar in the role of Neil O’Donald, a young, yet respected gang leader featured in an episode, titled Sound of a Strap (2010). His part on Shattered kick-started a series of small roles that would include USA Network's, Psych (2011), where he got to test his comedic chops as Ricky Fletcher, alongside well-known actor, Danny Glover, on the episode Dead Mans Curveball. Soon after, Dordar was cast by director Peter Markle to play Luiz Delfino in Fairly Legal (2012). From there, he appeared in FOX's Almost Human episode, Are You Receiving (2013), and Lifetime's Witches of East End episode, A Moveable Beast (2014). In 2015, Dordar would land a brief role on The CW's The 100. In 2016, he was cast as David, a Hollywood celebrity actor, in yet another FOX series, Lucifer. In 2016, he was cast in the true story, Death of a Vegas Showgirl, where he played Dominic, a wealthy professional dancer and boyfriend to Debbie, portrayed by Roselyn Sanchez.

He is also a motivational speaker and life coach. His other personal interests include acrobatics, gymnastics, stunts, racing motocross, and extreme martial arts, called tricking.
