Aranitas is a village in Mallakaster District,in south of Albania.The population of Aranitas is 4500.Aranitas is one of the oldest city in Mallakastra District and is mostly knownn in Albanian & Slavic History.The origin of name is from Russia,especially from a slavic warrior who came in Aranitas in june 1350 with 35 russian warriors.He was rich and very brave.He married with an albanian girl and created his family.
