Apolania

Apolania is a monotypic genus of wandering spider, containing the species Apolania segmentata. It is endemic to the Seychelles, where it is only found in a small area of forest on Mahé Island. It is threatened by habitat deterioration from invasive plants, particularly Cinnamomum verum.
