Anwar Mohammed Qarqash, (Arabic: أنور محمد قرقاش) also known as Anwar Mohammed Gargash (born 28 March 1959 in Dubai) is an Emirati politician of Persian and Iranian origins, who holds two cabinet portfolios, minister of state for federal national council affairs and minister of state for foreign affairs.

Education
Qarqash received a bachelor's degree in 1981 and a master's degree in 1984 in political science from George Washington University. Then he obtained a PhD from King's College of Cambridge University in 1990.
Career
Qarqash started his career as a faculty member at United Arab Emirates University where he served from 1985 to 1995. Until 2006 he worked at different foundations and firms. He was also a member of the board of directors of Emirati daily Al Ittihad from 1997 to 1999. He was appointed minister of state for federal national council affairs in 2006. In February 2008, he was also named as minister of state for foreign affairs.
