Antonio Pineda (1751-1792 in Manila) was a Guatemalan botanist born to Spanish parents. He was coordinator of the biologists, including Thaddäus Haenke and Luis Née, aboard the expedition of Alessandro Malaspina in the Pacific.
The flowering plant genus Pineda (Salicaceae) is named in his honor.
