Anton Georgiev

Biography

Anton Georgiev is born on 1960 in Bourgas, Bulgaria.Georgiev finished high school in Professional high school of mechanics and electronics in Bourgas in 1979.After that he continue his education in Technical University of Varna in 1986 - with "Communications".Georgiev study as a PhD student in Technical University of Sofia and finished in 1994 with Communication networks and systems.Georgiev speaks Russian, English and German.

In 1979 he graduated from School of Mechanical Engineering. From 1979 to 1981 he was a soldier in the barracks. From 1981 to 1986 he was a student at the Technical University of Varna - a master's degree. From 1989 to 1993 he was a PhD student at the Technical University of Sofia. January 1994 - is presented doctoral thesis for PhD. Since May 2004 he is Associate Professor / Scientific specialty "Electronization" Department of Electronics, Technical University of Varna. Since February 2016 he is a doctor of sciences.

• Since 01.07.2015, he is the Head of Department for Academic Affairs at the Technical University - Varna. • From 2011 to 2015 he is the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electronics at the Technical University of Varna. • He is Expert in the Accreditation Council to participate in procedures for evaluation and accreditation of higher education / approved protocol №8 / 26.02.2009 on the Accreditation Council of NEAA / in areas: 5. Technical Sciences and 9.
