Anti-culture refers to the phenomenon of large-scale harassment of specific Korean artists. Anti-fans establish an anti-organization in order to physically and mentally threaten and slander specific Korean pop stars. The more artists are adored and successful, the more anti-fans loathe or hate them. They show their hatred in various ways, such as tracking the artists' daily lives, posting rumors and sending death threats. The harassment of Korean artists has gradually become a subsection of K-pop fandom.

Tablo

Tablo is a rapper from the K-pop group, Epik High. Anti-fans did not believe that he graduated from Stanford University and attacked him on the Internet. When asked about the situation he said, “I thought my life was over. They called me a con man, a swindler, a fraud, and said they wouldn’t believe me because I was like that. I wondered if my family was like this because I was in this business. I had to accept reality, but I was scared."

Jung Yun-ho

A young female anti-fan of TVXQ gave Yun-ho a drink that looked like orange juice but contained superglue. After drinking the contaminated juice, he became sick to the point of vomiting. He was admitted to hospital, where he remained for several days. Instead of pressing charges against the anti-fan, he chose to forgive her, since the girl was the same age as his younger sister.

Han Kyung

Anti-fan groups spread rumors that accused Super Junior's Han Kyung of involvement in trades of amphetamine drug injection needles and sent letters to SM in an attempt to ruin his image. To prove his innocence, Han Kyung voluntarily completed a urine test.

Jay Park

After Jay Park’s departure from K pop group 2PM, infuriated anti-fans created a petition demanding his suicide. The petition, titled "Jaebum should commit suicide," gained about 3000 signatures before it was deleted.
