Antje Geertje (Ans) Markus (born January 29, 1947) is a Dutch painter.

Markus was born in Halfweg in the Netherlands. She is known for her paintings of woman in drapings. Markus is an autodidact with a realistic style. Her first exposition was in 1981 and her own atelier and exposition space was opened in 1995. In 2003, a book with a collection of her paintings was released because of her 25-year anniversary as a painter.
Markus has a distinctive clothing style.
On November 6, 2009, it was announced that Markus was selected as Dutch artist of the year.
