Education

Annapurni finished her schooling from Victoria College, Palakkad, in science. She did her Ph.D. on the topic "Studies of star clusters and stellar evolution" from Indian Institute of Astrophysics in 1996.

Career

Annapurni was a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics from 1990-96. She then became a Post Doctoral Fellow in 1998 at the institute and currently serves as Scientist. She is an active member of the International Astronomical Union.
