Contents

Description

Anisoscelidini species are elongated with flattened tibia of the legs in the shape of a leaf. The antennae have the 2 and 3 segments flattened (Chondrocera sp.) or some species having the 2 and 3 segments terete, or cylindrical, slightly tapering at both ends, circular in cross section, and smooth-surfaced. The length of the first segment of the antennae is as long as the length of the anterior margin of the eye to the tarsus (Narnia sp.).

Distribution

The tribe is almost all confined to the Western Hemisphere and only found in neotropical environments. Three genera are found north of Mexico, and all can be found in Florida.
