Angela "Ange" Pulvirenti is an Australian writer, television presenter, producer and media personality. She is the founder and managing director of boutique production company - Internal Laundry Productions. Over the last 10 years, Pulvirenti has interviewed some of the most famous and influential celebrities in the world - Tom Cruise, Mick Jagger, Beyonce and Hugh Jackman to name a few. She has created and hosted interview formats for Foxtel, The Nine Network, ABC News 24 and ABC Local Radio and Qantas Inflight Television. Pulvirenti has worked prolifically as a features writer for The Sunday Magazine and as a columnist for The Sun Herald Sun.

Pulvirenti recently created and produced a 10 part celebrity interview series called The Truth About Us for Foxtel's BIO Channel. The series is currently being replayed on Foxtel Arts. The Truth About Us, also hosted by Pulvirenti, interviews famous Australians alongside a person who has shaped or influenced their lives. The latest series featured Russell Crowe and his on set constumer of 20 years - Mickey Castellano; Rock Legend Jimmy Barnes and his best mate, entertainment mogul Michael Gudinski; actor Guy Pearce and his oldest childhood friend as well as food icons Maggie Beer and Stephanie Alexander and INXS frontman and manager Chris Murphy. From 2010 to 2014, Pulvirenti hosted and produced an interview program on sporting legends called INSIDE EDGE for ABC News 24 and ABC Local Radio around the country. Guests in this series included NRL stars Johnathan Thurston, Sam Thaiday and Laurie Daley; tennis legends John Newcombe, Ken Rosewall and Evonne Goolaong and Cricketing icons Greg and Ian Chappell.

From 2003 to 2007, Pulvirenti hosted and produced the entertainment interview show "Backstage Pass"; a half hour weekly television show on Saturday mornings on the Nine Network. It was also featured on Qantas domestic and international television from 2001 until 2006, and repackaged as a national radio program appearing on Nova. Guests on Backstage Pass included Tom Cruise, Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Mick Jagger, Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn as well as local music stars like Silverchair, Kasey Chambers, Missy Higgins.

James Manning, MediaWeek Editor in Chief, described Pulvirenti as "one of the best-kept secrets at the Nine Network".

Pulvirenti began working in the media for the Seven Network Queensland. Prior to launching her television career, Pulvirenti created and produced ads in Cairns in northern Queensland. The production team from Cairns also helped Pulvirenti to film the pilot for her own show called "Out of the Blue", which was about people swapping careers.

In 1999 with her first television pilot, Pulvirenti moved to Sydney hoping to break into the television industry.

From 1999 to 2001, Pulvirenti established her career in production with the Seven Network, writing and producing comedy segments for children's television, Saturday Disney and segment producing for a daily music program AMV.

In 2008, Pulvirenti was field producer for the second series of "Uncorked with Stuart MacGill".

Backstage Pass

Backstage Pass is a celebrity interview program created, produced and hosted by Pulvirenti from 2003 until 2007. Throughout 2005 and 2006, the show existed as a weekly half-hour television show on Saturday mornings on the Nine Network. It was also featured on Qantas domestic and international television from 2001 until 2006, and repackaged as a national radio program appearing on Nova.

The television show involved Pulvirenti travelling extensively around the world to interview celebrities, and the behind the scenes antics from these were used to write her weekly newspaper column called "Confessions of a Celebrity Interviewer". (reference from newspaper needed).

Radio

On Australian radio, Pulvirenti has had guest appearances on Sydney's commercial station 2UE and Brisbane's 4MMM with her packages produced from Backstage Pass broadcast on DMG Radio Australia's Nova in 2006.

Journalist

For three years beginning in 2001, Pulvirenti was a features writer and columnist for The Daily Telegraph Sunday Magazine interviewing international celebrities including Sinead O'Connor, Lucinda Williams, Chris Martin, Danielle Spencer,Hugh Jackman, Christina Aguilera, Natalie Imbruglia and Kylie Minogue. She has also worked with top Australian artists including Kasey Chambers.

In 2005, Pulvirenti began writing a sex, life and relationships column for the Sunday Herald Sun.

In 2008, Pulvirenti wrote a column for a Queensland Newspaper called "Confessions of a celebrity interviewer".
