The Andhra cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The team's home ground is the APCA-VDCA Stadium at Visakhapatnam, but some of their home matches are also played at Vijayawada and Anantapur.

Overview
Andhra has competed in every season of the Ranji Trophy since making its first appearance in the 1953-54 season, with the exception of 1961-62, when it was absent. As of late October 2016 it has played 297 first-class matches, with 42 wins, 127 losses and 128 draws. Since the inception of List A cricket in India in 1986-87, Andhra has played 114 List A matches, with 30 wins, 83 losses and one no-result.
It has never featured in a Ranji Trophy final and has therefore never had a chance to participate in the Irani Trophy. In the 2007/08 season Andhra achieved two wins out of six in the Elite Group of the Ranji Trophy, missing out of the semi-finals. It falls under the South Zone of Indian cricket. In the 2007-08 season, the Andhra Pradesh cricket team was captained by Mannava Prasad. The contingent also included Arjun Kumar, Mohammad Faiq, Sarath Babu and Paidikalva Vijaykumar.
