Ana Novella Wikipedia
Ana Novella is a Spanish (Catalan) painter and sculpture artist.
Ana Novella was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain in 1968. She lived in London for 7 years before returning to her birthplace in 1996.
She has exhibited and sold her works of art both in Europe and the United States. Since 1990, Ana has been involved in several art projects and commissions and in particular her work has been acclaimed in the Netherlands, Germany, USA, UK, as well as in Spain.
Her inspiration is drawn from her love of nature and her interest in collecting broken pieces of phrases or sentences from newspaper articles and letters.
These precious findings, once mixed with collage and other textures, eventually become different tactile layers in her paintings whilst her sculptures become characters who escape from this previous landscape.
