Amiyawar region plays a very important role in farming. Farmers of this village cultivates rice, wheat and vegetables for years. Now, a big initiative taken by "Shree Krishna Prasad(Bhootpurwa Mukhiya jee)" to transform this area as a vegetable hub of Rohtas district. Thus he employs around 12 farmer's families in his 4 acres of vegetable farming. Climate
Amiyawar has very fine weather.During winter temperature is around 8 to 22 degree Celsius and in summer temperature is around 22 to 39 degree Celsius. Best time to visit this place is November to February.

Amiyawar is very well connected to other places in locality through state high way(15). There is a post office (Postmaster- Shree Janardan Prasad Singh) in the village for the postal communication and to provide a nearby good banking service to the villager. There is also a rice mill and several brick factory in the village.
There are very beautiful temples one side of river in east. Old Kali Ma ka Mandir, Shiv Mandir and the newly built Surya Mandir are some of them. on the other side a Masgid(Mosque) is there near to canal in west part of the village.
The new generation has also have some sort of attraction towards sports mainly football, cricket and little bit of volleyball. To full fill the desire of the youth a playground is there which is on the bank of the river. Some very basic arrangement has also been made by the gram panchayat to host football and cricket matches.
