Amila Kankanamge is a Sri Lankan computer engineer and an IT entrepreneur. Amila serves on E3X Global's Board of Directors, as the President of the board. He also serves as an Executive Director at Lanka eNet Networks. Amila was the Chief Operations Officer for SmartRF Global and was responsible for procuring and managing SmartRF’s entire products and service inventory.

Education
Amila earned his Ph.D from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Engineering from MIT. Amila also has a bachelor's degree on Business Management and Marketing from the University of London. He is also the sixth youngest PHD holder of the world.
Career
Amila was an intern at NASA. His passion in telecommunications was developed during a university project, which followed on with establishing E3X Global. Amila has over 10 years of experience in the mobile value added services (VAS) industry in Sri Lanka and around Asia. He is also a veteran in satellite communication and broadcasting systems.
