Amar Audio is the largest music corporation in the Punjab. An Indian-based, Punjabi-owned music corporation, it currently operates as a subsidiary of Punjab. This Production house started by the name of Aman Audio in 1990’s, which is the largest music production & published company in the Punjabi Music Industry. It has produced several commercially and critically successful albums over the years.

History Founding

The present Amar Audio was formed when its Family company is Aman Audio in 1990. However, the name first appeared in 1995 when Aman Audio was renamed Amar Audio. The company's name originates from the two founding brothers Aman Dhaliwal (born Maler Kotla, Punjab), Pinky Dhaliwal (born Maler Kotla, Punjab).They emigrated with their parents to Sangrur, Punjab and completed their schooling. Aman Dhaliwal, the elder, was began in the business, towards Canada. The younger Pinky Dhaliwal was passionate about composing, singing & listening of music as further he began in the Music Production Business.

Rise to Prominence

In the beginning, Amar Audio had acquired a first Devotional Production album Chitthiye Maiya De Dar Jaa with music scored by Suriender Shinda with which they showed album in the mining towns to Punjab. This music album produced in March 1990. After this Amar audio had produced many albums with artists such as :
