History
Michael Newman founded Always Best Care in 1996 after acting as the owner/operator of numerous assisted-living and residential-care communities. Prior to the founding of Always Best Care, Newman also developed an assisted-living case-management company in California. Always Best Care began as a provider of assisted-living placement services, expanding in 1998 to include non medical in-home care services as part of its offerings.
In 2007, Always Best Care began operations using the franchise model.
Currently, Always Best Care operates in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Awards and Recognition
Always Best Care has received numerous rewards since it began franchising in 2007. These awards include mention among USA Today's Top 50 Franchises for Veterans in 2013 in addition to being named by Entrepreneur magazine as one of the "Franchise 500 Fastest Growing Franchises” and one of the "Top Personal Services Franchises” in 2015.
