Alpha Unmanned Systems is a privately owned Spanish company based in Madrid, dedicated to the design, development and production of small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (sUAV). Additionally, the Company provides integration of Flight Control Systems and payloads for ISTAR missions and non-military tasks.

History
Alpha Unmanned Systems was founded in early 2014 as a spin-off of UAV Navigation which developed the Sniper Helicopter Platform. In 2014, the company decided to be focused on software development, leaving the platform's license to Alpha Unmanned Systems.
Since then, the company is led by Eric Freeman and Alvaro Escarpenter. The company offers solutions such as a completely integrated Ground Control Station (GCS), communications, control software and different accessories tailored depending on the requirements.
SNIPER unmanned helicopter
The SNIPER is a small unmanned gasoline-powered helicopter with 2 hours of autonomous flight, up to 30 km range and 2 kg of payload capacity. The platform was first developed by UAV Navigation and since 2014 Alpha Unmanned Systems owns the license to improve, produce and manufacture the aircraft.
