Allan D. Suter (d. December 26, 2013) was an author who had previously played baseball at the collegiate and professional levels.

Early life
Suter was born in or around 1931. He attended Kalamazoo Central High School and then the University of Wisconsin, where as a pitcher he helped the Wisconsin Badgers win the 1952 Big Ten Conference baseball title.
Professional career
He signed a professional baseball contract with the St. Louis Cardinals and played in their minor league system in 1953. He was 9-3 with a 3.71 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) for the Hamilton Cardinals of the Pennsylvania-Ontario-New York League. He also played in a couple games for their Triple-A club, the Rochester Red Wings of the International League that year.
Following his playing career, Suter attended Western Michigan University, where he earned a master's degree. He turned to writing, authoring numerous books on mathematics, including two math series for the McGraw-Hill.
He died in Green Valley, Arizona.
