History

The church is medieval but the current building dates mostly from the 15th and 16th centuries. The top of the tower was added in 1913.

On being made redundant in 1973, the church was converted into a community centre.

Organ

The church contained an organ dating from 1861 by Corps. A specification of the organ can be found on the National Pipe Organ Register.
