Early & Personal Life

Alissa Violet was born as Marie Butler on June 12, 1996. She was born and raised in Brunswick, Ohio. Alissa completed her schooling from Brunswick High School in Ohio. Alissa was very much fond of modeling and dreamt of taking up modeling as a career since she was young. A Victoria Secret commercial inspired her to become a model, Alissa had said in an interview.

Alissa met Jake Paul during a fan meet at a mall in Ohio and they eventually gelled up well. Jake convinced Alissa to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in modeling and she rightly did so. Soon, Alissa bagged modeling contracts from four different agencies. She permanently shifted to Los Angles in 2015 and also bought her first car.

Barley House Incident

Alissa Violet and Faze Banks were partying at Barley House in Cleveland, Ohio one fine night when a brawl took place between them and the staff of the night club. Alissa and Banks claimed that she was punched in the incident. Videos of the incident and Alissa's punched face were all over the internet.

As per the clarification video released by Barley House, Alissa and Banks were in a restricted washroom on the ground floor of the club at 2:30 am after the closing time of the club. Money was being counted at an office nearby. Bouncers asked the couple to go upstairs but Banks got aggressive and pushed one of the bouncers which led to a brawl. Hence, Alissa and Banks had to be escorted out of the club.

But Banks side of the story is entirely different. As per him, Alissa and Banks got access to the restricted washroom downstairs with the help of one of his friends who works at a sister establishment of the club. They took permission from the concerned person and informed the bouncer about the same and used the washroom once to avoid the queue upstairs while partying. While leaving the club, the couple once again went downstairs to use the washroom. But this time there was a different bouncer, he let Alissa use the washroom but denied permission to Banks. When Banks said he won't leave until Alissa comes out of the washroom, the bouncer pushed him which led to a brawl.

Alissa started recording it all on her phone. The staff members asked her to keep her phone away otherwise they would beat her up. Alissa did not listen to them so they pushed her on the floor and attacked her. Alissa was badly bruised in the spat.

Banks also alleged that the videos released by the Barely House were trimmed to support their side of the story. He had demanded the nightclub to release unedited security footage of the incident. But it never happened.

Alissa Violet has accused Faze Banks of cheating on her with other women multiple times throughout their relationship of two years. Alissa opened up about how she discovered that Banks was cheating on him when a fan asked her so on Twitter. "I was asleep upstairs with our dogs and he wasn't next to me so I checked our guest [wing of the house] and caught him naked in bed with a random girl," Violet wrote. Banks soon jumped in and responded "I love you" to her allegation.

Alissa went on to post several screenshots of WhatsApp chats and wrote, "Did you 'love' me when you texted that girl that you were on your way to her hotel room at 6 am to 'get weird' while I was sleeping next to you?" In a follow-up tweet Alissa wrote, "Did you 'love me' when you said you were at highlight room, but I had your location and you were at a random apartment complex for 2 hours?"

Hinting at Banks' aggressive side, Alissa wrote, "Did you 'love me' when you broke 8 of my phones?" She added, "Did you 'love me' when you smashed in the back of chantel'a [sic] window of her car that she gave me?" In the final question to Banks, Alissa wrote, "Did you 'love me' when you f**ked all the girls I was worried about while we were dating, after the breakup?"

Alissa tweets spread like a wildfire among fans who began questioning Banks about his wrongdoings. Addressing the controversy, Banks had said, "Love that girl (Alissa) to death and always will. I'll never say a bad word about her. This s**ts about as hard to deal with as it gets. Please respect our privacy through this."
