Québécois was a lake freighter launched in 1963 by Canadian Vickers Ltd. She was a bulk carrier, at 75 feet (23 m) wide and 730 feet (220 m) long, she was built to the maximum dimensions of the St Lawrence Seaway locks. Her capacity was 28,000 tonnes. She normally carried grain, but occasionally carried ore.

Her first owner was the Papachristides Company. The Upper Lakes Shipping Company acquired the vessel in 1972. In 2011 Upper Lakes was acquired by Algoma Central Corporation. The vessel was renamed Algoma Quebecois.

The Algoma Quebecois was towed through the Welland Canal and reached International Marine Salvage in Port Colborne on November 21, 2013 where she was scrapped in 2014.
