Alexei Faskhutdinov (Russian: Алексей Ирикович Фасхутдинов; born 8 September 1984) is a Swedish-Russian, professional ice hockey player who trained Tranås (Tranås AIF), Sweden. However, over the past six seasons (2005–2012) he has played in the Russian-Intercontinental league, VHL, which is the level below the KHL.

Career in Russia
Prior to season 2010/2011 Alex was on the way to Vityaz in the KHL and the transition was confirmed. The transfer did not go through in time so he continued in the VHL.
2011/2012 - VHL
In the 2011/2012 season he is playing for Zauralie Kurgan. He is top of the team's internal scoring leaders with 15-20 games less played. The best score-% in the team and its assistant leader. He missed the season's first 14 games due to injury. The team had a winning percentage of 35% without Faskhutdinov. When he returned that percentage increased to 50% in next 16 matches and the team has retained winning ratio even 32 played games later.
2010/2011 - VHL
In the middle of the season Faskhutdinov was recruited to Kurgan to constitute a winning formation along with players such as Yuri Butsayev. Faskhutdinov delivered superior results, had by far highest points-% in the team and was awarded, League awards;
2009/2010 - Kurgan, VHL: team's best scorer / best score-% average.
2007/2008 - CSK Airforce, VHL: (level under KHL); by far the best scorer in the team.
2006/2007 - CSK Airforce, VHL: (level under KHL); team's best scorer.
2008/2009
During the 2008/2009 season Faskhutdinov played for Växjö Lakers, Allsvenskan in Sweden. He was top 3 in points league during the preseason. After a family-/private situation which reflected also on ice hockey both parties chose to end the contract. In nine league games played, however, Faskhutdinov delivered 7 points (22 matches acc. Official statistics since Alexei was standing in to the protocols).
2004/2005
During the 2004/2005 season Faskhutdinov played for Tranås AIF (home club). Scoring winner of the team in SWE; Div.1.
