Alana bridgewater live in a sentimental mood
Alana Bridgewater (born Newmarket, Ontario) was raised in Scarborough, Ontario and discovered her love for performing at an early age. She was a member of The Canadian Children's Opera Chorus, The Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir and founding member of The Nathaniel Dett Chorale. She attended The University of Windsor, studying with Steven Henrickson and Richard Householder. Alana was the voice of the 2008 Olympic Bid. In 2007 she was nominated for a Gemini Award for her contribution to The Gospel Christmas Project (CBC). Alana has appeared in Hannibal (NBC), Dino Dan (Nick Jr.) and the upcoming Mysticons

In 2008 she played the role of 'Killer Queen' in the Toronto production of We Will Rock You. Her debut CD Horizon received critical acclaim and her single "Deception" was a 2008 Soulmag(UK) top pick. In 2017, Alana will be appearing as Motormouth in Soulpepper's production of Spoon River" In Toronto and as a part of Soulpepper on 42nd St in NYC.
