Alan McCurrie (birth registered October→December 1953 (age 63–64)) birth registered in Whitehaven, is a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s, and 1980s, playing at representative level for Cumbria, and at club level for Hensingham ARLFC [1], Whitehaven (twice), Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 856), Oldham, and Halifax, as a hooker, i.e. number 9.

Alan McCurrie played hooker in Wakefield Trinity's 3-12 defeat by Widnes in the 1979 Challenge Cup Final during the 1978–79 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 5 May 1979, in front of a crowd of a crowd of 94,218.
