Akaki (Ako) Minashvili (born 24 September 1980) is a Georgian politician and Chairman of Committee on Foreign Affairs of Parliament of Georgia since December 2008. Before that he was Deputy Chairman of Committee on Legal Issues.

During 1999–2004 Minashvili was one of the leaders of student movement, in particular active member of Independent Student Self-government of Tbilisi State University.

In 2003, he co-founded yoth movement Kmara. Kmara was established, which played a leading role in the November 2003 Rose Revolution.

09/2004 – 06/2006 Minashvili was Executive Director of Liberty Institute.

12/2007 – 03/2008 he was Director of Defense, Law and Order Department of National Security Council of Georgia.

12/2007 – 03/2008 - Director, Defense, Law and Order Department, Staff of National Security Council.

In 2008 Minashvili was elected to Parliament of Georgia.
