Early life and education
Ajay Kumar Mishra was born in Banveer Pur village in Lakhimpur Kheri district. He attended the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and attained Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Laws degrees.
Political career
Ajay Kumar Mishra has been a MP for one term. He represented the Kheri constituency and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party political party. In September 2014, he was appointed as a Member of Standing Committee on Rural Development. In 2012, Mishra was elected as MLA in the 16th Legislative Assembly from Nighasan.
