Career
Aishwarya's first film to be released was Oliyampukal (1990), followed by Mamagaru (1991), Rasukutty (1992) and Meera (1992). She played a double role in Butterflies (1993) and also in Gardish (1993) which was a remake of the Malayalam movie Kireedam. She also acted in the Malayalam serial Paarijatham broadcast on Asianet in which she played Lalitha Bai.She has featured in many advertisements also.
She works in a computer firm and occasionally acts in films.
Personal life
Born as Shanta Meena Bhaskar, to Malayali father K Bhaskaran and half Tamil and Telugu actress Lakshmi, she has a half-sister from her mother's third marriage. She was married to Tanveer in 1994 and they were divorced in 1996. The couple have a daughter, Anaina, born in 1995.
