The marsh dagger (Acronicta strigosa) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is distributed through the whole of Europe, east to the Caucasus, northern China, Korea and Japan.
The wingspan is approximately 32 mm. The adults fly in June and July.[1] They are attracted to light.
The larvae feed mainly on hawthorn and sometimes blackthorn.
