Acacia insolita is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the South West region of Western Australia.

The shrub typically grows to a height of 0.1 to 1.2 metres (0.3 to 3.9 ft) and produces yellow-cream flowers from June to September.

There are three recognised subspecies:
