Acacia divergens is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the South West and Great Southern regions of Western Australia.
The diffuse, slender and spiny shrub typically grows to a height of 0.4 to 2.5 metres (1 to 8 ft). It blooms from August to November and produces cream-yellow flowers.
