Acacia chartacea is a shrub or tree belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area along the south coast in the Mid West and the Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.
The erect and straggly shrub or tree typically grows to a height of 1.5 to 4 metres (5 to 13 ft). It blooms from August to December and produces cream-yellow flowers.
